Banning Selfies

After months in committee, even with bi-partisan support, House Bill 1442B, the Banning of Public Arm Extended Photography in a Direction of the Photographer, reached the floor where it passed on a voice vote. The bill will now be taken up by a resolution committee to compare it with similar legislation out of the Senate, Senate Bill E558621, The Cessation of Aggrandized Imagery Posting on Social Networks, Including Personal Blogs. Final wording of a combined bill is expected later this season for consideration of both houses. If passed, the president is expected to sign it, reluctantly.
